In memory of Jim Hassall, the visionary founder of Spartal Ltd.

1937 – 2025.

In 1981, Jim, alongside Bob Styler, took a bold step by founding Spartal Ltd, a company dedicated to innovation and precision in aluminium extrusion.

Under his leadership, Spartal grew from strength to strength, setting high standards for safety, quality, and responsibility, values that remain at the heart of our operations today. Jim’s tireless commitment to excellence shaped the foundation of Spartal and his influence continues to guide the company as we move forward.

Though Jim stepped back from his role at Spartal in his early 70s, his legacy lives on through the company he built. We are incredibly grateful for his leadership, vision, and the values he instilled in Spartal. As we commemorate his life, we honour the lasting impact he made – not only within the business but in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
